Dog Day Afternoon

The RSPCA Halifax & Huddersfield District Branch, and the Shibden Park rangers will again be hosting The Dog Day Afternoon, held at Shibden park on Thursday the 28th July. The event starts at 12:30, and we will have the popular fun dog judging classes, as well as the RSPCA shop, Dippy Duck- a fun game for children and the always popular Have a Go Agility and Hot Dog Sausage run. We are also planning on a having a few new attraction this year including a stall organised by the RSPCA charity shops, and a stall hosted by the local Environmental Health Officer. Entry to the event is free, but any donations would be much appreciated and will go to help the animals in our care. Each Judging class costs £1 per entry, and the classes are as follows-
Class One- Dog with the most appealing eyes
Class Two- Cutest well behaved puppy
Class Three- Best Child Handler aged 8 years and under
Class Four- Best Trick
Class Five- Best Golden oldie (dog above eight years)
Class Six- Fancy dress
Class Seven- Best child handler- 9 years to 15 years
Class Eight- Dog the Judge would most like to take home
